Christmas!

Chuchi Dalati

Their first day in Kalacha we did some forshadowing!!! Actually, they had spilled their water and got soaked and we had to warm them up a little.
Kevin decided that he wanted to bring one home... so we took it visiting first!
Then when we got home Jillo was a bit afraid of it, so we got her to feed it.
Little Chuchi (means chick) joined morning devos.
And Chuchi likes to roost, she is not happy if she is left on the ground.
She is also making friends with Guchi!

Music Week

We had the most amazing music seminar with Wendy Atkins. She came to do a week of teaching and helping the Gabra people write their own new music straight from scritputre using their own style!!! I can't even begin to describe how great it was to have Wendy come and help us and our church with the gift of music! The songs that they came up with are great and we are singing them all the time now! Anyways, here are some pics.

I made friends with this little guy... what a cutie!
Wendy used dramas and acting out of stories to help us remember what we have learned.
The elders attended, even some who don't normaly come to church, and it was so encouraging to see them being so involved in the seminar!
With her wonderful little recorder she can get all of these amazing songs recorded.


She was asking what could be used to worship God... in the end it was agreed that since God made all music then every musical instrument could be used to worship Him.

While the seminar went on it gave me a chance to get some neat pics... I love taking pics!

Mombasa

For the end of Daniel's visit we took him to Mombasa. Beautiful, loveliest Mombasa.

One day we got to take a boat out to Wasini Island for the day... I think that is what heaven will be like!!! We snorkeled for HOURS!

The bread trick works well to attract many many fish!!!
These little yellow fish started out following Scott, then Dan and then me... you could not lose them even if you tried! I was sad to leave them when I finally got out of the water.
After we got out of the water...

We followed the dolphins in the boat until we are close enough to jump in and swim with them... I got within 10 feet!!! Amazing.
I love Dolphins! They are so beautiful and graceful!
